Jurassic World Evolution Revealed at Gamescom 2017

Last night, at the first day of Gamescom, a brand new Jurassic Park game was announced during Microsoft’s pre-Gamescom livestream event. Titled Jurassic World Evolution, the game will put you in the shoes of one of the park operators allowing you to basically design your own Jurassic Park. Sounds pretty cool, right? The game comes from developers of the Elite Dangerous series, Planet Coaster, and the classic Roller Coaster Tycoon series; Frontier Developments.

The game is set to release in the summer of next year which just so happens to be around the same time as the release of the sequel to Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Seeing as the film releases in June we should probably expect an early summer date for the game, which we may find out in October at the Frontier Expo. When the game does launch, it will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Looks great but can we see a trailer that isn’t pre-rendered? I thought we’d got past the age with our 4K XBOX ONE X’s!

So are you planning on picking up Jurassic World Evolution when it launches next year? Or are theme-park building simulators not really your cup of tea? Tell us in the comments below.
